Grading: the condition of all items are described with the best of our knowledge. We believe a good but conservative description, completed with detailled pictures is the best method of telling you the condition a camera or lens is in. A good clear lens without haze or fungus but with minor scratches on the elements would be described as a good user. Things like (accurate) shutter speed, focus, aperture blades are really important for active photographers, but maybe less important for collectors for certain antique equipment. All shutters are tested by an experienced ear, not by scientific testing equipment. If your intend to use your analog camera there is good chance it has to have some CLA in the near future. If a recent CLA is done, you will get a copy of the invoice. If you have more questions about the condition of items(s) feel free to ask more details.

P=for parts = not for the photographer, only for collectors or repair men.

AV= average = not good but not bad, still a user, many traces of use that good effect the photo.

G= Good , traces of use on the outside, some (bigger) dust particles inside the lens that does not effect the image. Minor hairline scratches.

VG= very good, small traces of use on the outside, focus smooth, micro dust particles, only minor traces of lens cleaning.

Excellent = minor traces of use, mechanical and optical very clean with small traces of use, still not for the seasoned collector.

Mint= already interesting for the collector and the serious photographer, optical and mechanical in optimal condition.

Mint/boxed= very interesting for the collector, often a rare piece in the original box with papers in almost untouched vintage condition.
